Jon Ritchie

Son of the legendary John Hall, this great grappler started his illustrious career as an amateur with the United club, where he rose to represent his Country over twenty times as National Wrestling Champion. This mammoth achievement was followed by graduating as a qualified BAWA Coach, a job that he still enjoys to this day at various Amateur clubs.

Ritchie is also an accomplished boxer, having many fights as an amateur at the downham boxing club in London. He then boxed on unlicensed bills and finishd with a 25 match's, gaining 22 wins. Ritchie then turned his hand to bare knuckle fighting gaining 4 KO wins before taking his Pro-Wrestling more seriously,

Jon trained with Mike Marino at the Dale-Martins gym in Brixton following in his fathers footsteps and he turned Pro in the early eighties, wrestling all around Britain and the near Continent. Opponents such as Johnny Saint, Jon Cortez, Cyanide Sid Cooper, Mal Kirk, Rollerball Rocco etc., were commonplace and he even took to the ring with Big Daddy and against Haystacks on more than one occasion.

Jon joined NWA Hammerlock as Instructor/wrestler before really finding his groove as the head trainer and owner of Dropkixx Wrestling Academy in 2004. Since then he has provided the Dropkixx trainees with a wealth of experience and knowledge, predating the current era of sports entertainment and providing students with a real grasp of wrestling's fundamental concepts.

A regular fixture for Great Britain's top wrestling promotion, LDN Wrestling, you can see Jon Ritchie defending his heavyweight championship at venues all across the UK. With all his experience and talent he is proving to be as formidable a competitor today as he was decades ago.
